| Future projects |
| |
| ‘Work in progress’, as all writers know, is an elastic phrase, embracing a range of true meaning from ‘final draft completed’ to ‘merest gleam in the eye for the next decade if I live that long’. But a new version of Thomas Mann’s novella Tonio Kröger is in preparation, to accompany the earlier translation of Death in Venice that already exists on the site. Tonio Kröger will appear in 2027. In addition, a new version of Pindar’s Olympian Odes is scheduled to appear next year. |
